Hi everyone
I am setting a fitness goal for myself to lose 40 pounds by the end of 2010. I currently am a member at 2 gyms in Waltham/Watertown and have increased the amount I exercise, BUT I eat so terribly and have no motivation. Are any of you part of buddy systems or groups at your gyms and if so, does it work? I do workout with a friend, but she does volleyball a few nights a week so I find myself never going when she's not there. I'm a grown adult, you'd think I could go to the gym on my own!!! What works for all of you???

I looked at the Y but ended up going with BSC because my friend joined and I thought I'd work out more! I love classes and need to start going to them!
I try to work out in the morning if I can, that way I get it done and can't make excuses all day long about working out later. The buddy system is a good motivator for me, a friend and I try to go to Vinyasa Power Yoga together once a week and DH and I try to workout together to both get motivated.
Also, I know a couple other nesties usually post a weekly exercise/eating check-in, so that could be helpful. GL with your fitness goals!
