DH did laundry and used bleach on the darks....
He was attempting to be helpful and used bleach on the dark clothes, including my new workout dri-fit pants!!! They have bleach spots on them....do you think the RIT clothes dye would re-dye them black or are they destined for the trash?!

Your best bet would be to strip the color then re-dye with a procion type dye. I've done this several times, but the results depend on the specific fabric. If you try to just bleach over the spots then it will come out uneven.

RIT dye is crap, seriously. The colours are dull and have no staying power whatsoever, esp for black.
