anyone else...

Does anyone else feel kind of sad now that Chrismas is over? I feel like I have nothing fun to look forward to now. There is New Years but we aren't doing anything exciting for that...hopefully I will find a job in Jan. otherwise I will need a project or something to keep me busy! How about you? Anything exciting to look forward to in the near future?

Re: anyone else...

  • I'm kind of feeling the opposite actually.  I'm looking forward to "regular" life with not much to do on the weekends.  I have a couple hobbies (rubber stamping, photography, music...) that I've been neglecting so I can't wait for a weekend with nothing to do so I can back to some of my creative endeavors :)    I know that in about 6 mths we're going to start house hunting so I'm going to try to relax and enjoy the next few months as much as possible!

That being said that past few months have been a whirlwind of fun and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

  • I always get really excited for Christmas...then this year it seemed like a blur!! It was so busy that it flew by for us.  I am looking forward to a little down time to relax a bit!! My two BFFs since elementary school are coming for a visit in a couple weeks for my birthday, so I'm really looking forward to that!  But other than that, we're going to enjoy some peace and quiet! :)

  • It wnt by soo fast that it did make me kinda sad. But now im in the process of planning my LO 1st birthday which is 2 months away. I am actually looking forward to March when I can just relax and not have to worry about anything.

  • I'm actually really glad the holidays are over. They were fun and we had a great Christmas, but I am very much looking forward to regular life again.

We're going to Las Vegas in April for a week...so I'm looking forward to that. One of my best friends and BM just got engaged in November, and I will be a BM in their wedding in August and my new SIL got engaged on Christmas Eve and they're planning a destination wedding in Hawaii, so there's lots to look forward to here!
