Duff, I don't know how you do it...
The running thing. Haha.
I started Couch to 5K today. I ran outside and seriously thought my chest was going to explode! Kuddos to you! Maybe one day we will run together. I suck right now!
Re: Duff, I don't know how you do it...
I think that you gave yourself an extra challenge by starting on a cold day
I've heard that is a great program, good luck working towards your first 5k!
Boo! Tell me when you're going to do these things and I'll come with you! It's a great program...my friend is coming back from an injury and is using it to start back up again...she's run 2 marathons, so it's great for everyone - beginners and "experts" alike.
I was actually coming here to page you...a couple of our friends are seriously looking into building in your future development, so Mike and I drove through it today and we LOVED it! I'm assuming it was the same one, there's not much going up there besides that one development, although it's kinda big. We're going to see what it would take to do the necessary things to get our condo ready to sell. We picked up a few things from one builder (Paul Allen) and we really liked what we saw. Who knows...maybe we'll be neighbors some day.

Oh, I'd love to see your lot, regardless of what ends up happening. We for sure need to replace the carpet in our condo and we need to put in a new door on our coat closet (and a door stop...there's a hole in the current door thanks to the lack of a door stop for the front door. Grrrrr....) and I need to re-paint. I don't think any of it is really huge.
Yes, definitely run outside. I totally understand the walking faster than you run - I swear, I STILL run slower than I walk! 1.5 miles for your first time is awesome though! I think I did less than a mile my first time (ok, first several times)! I'm not sure what time you're working, but we have a small group running/walking tomorrow night at 6. My friend that I mentioned above who's doing C25K will be there too if you're interested in joining us.

Thanks for the invite Duff! I have to leave for work by 630. I work 7p to 730a. Maybe once I can run for more than a minute straight I will join you on a day off?
Check your email too!
