I has a touch of the baby fever
Don't worry, there will be no reproducing for years . . . but I feel like once I turned 27, my body just started wanting a baby. I don't know why . . . maybe because my mom was 27 when she had me? This weekend when we were hanging out with J's cousins and their kids, I wanted to snatch one up and take him home. Oh and yesterday on the subway, there was a family sitting next to me and while I was reading, I felt a tiny hand tap me. I looked over and this little kid, probably less than two looked up at me and smiled and waved. I melted.
Gah, my ovaries.

Will it help if I tell you Hunter has been screaming ALL morning and two days ago he sh!t all over our cream colored carpet. Projectile style?

That cured one of my friends baby fever fast (also her DH is moving to India w/o her for year, that probably helped).
Although, he doesn't even cure my second-baby fever. Because even when he's crying he is SO FLIPPIN' CUTE that I want another one.
Honestly, I would probably still get more excited about a baby puppy than a baby, despite the yearning. Or a baby pig.
Oh yes, this is me to a T. Even though I have baby fever, show me a PUPPY and I can't contain myself. The cuteness is almost too much for me to bear LOL! I can't get enough of puppies!

Me too! I honestly don't go nuts over other people's babies but show me a puppy and I have to hold him and kiss him and squeeze him. I go nuts over my baby of course.
And O.M.G. must have baby pig! So cute!
I have had baby fever from 20 til about this year (31)...Dont know what changed...I think getting a puppy and seeing what hard work he is and thinking about how taking care of a puppy doesnt even touch taking care of a baby has cooled my jets a bit.
Dont get me wrong, if my BC messed up or something I would be totally happy...but for right now...I think we are cooling it on the baby talk.
We do want 2 kiddo's and I would like to be done having them by 35...so things will be happening soon and in rapid sucsetion! ::gulp::
this exactly. I also started getting baby fever worse when I turned 28 probably because my mom had me when SHE was 28. . .never really thought of it though until you posted this.
I started "thinking" about wanting babies about 6 months after the wedding, it's rapidly progressing into a fever, but I'd still take a kitten over a baby any day! LOL
Seriously though, if I wasn't turning 30 next June, and DH 33 next July, we'd wait a couple years, but I don't want to up our risk of having trouble trying to conceive so we are already tryin'.
