Guess who can shower now...
ME! I have been promised that the bathroom will be absolutely complete before the 1st. Still needs trim around the door, hot water thingie needs to be changed, vanity mirror/towel rack/etc. need to be hung. But DH has given the go-ahead to fire up the shower (grout has been "curing" for about a month now and I've been confined to baths only). I think an hour long shower is in order!
When it's all said and done, pics will go up on fb!

I'd love to get a new bathroom
Our tub sucks, it's like a little kids tub so it's really narrow and shallow and it's porcelain so it's COLD. You cannot enjoy a bath in it at all 
We had a crappy fiberglass tub before that was so small. The new one is cultured marble and SO NICE! DH did everything himself (except the plumber came in because the old and new tubs had different plumbing and they tub people delivered the tub and set it in the bathroom - called it "installation").
I would be skeptical about the deadline, but it's so close to being finished and he gets off work at noon today for the rest of the week!
