Holy Blizzard & New Years
There is something not right with me when I wake up to three inches of snow and get giddy happy! We didn't have any for Christmas, so I'm excited now.
Do you guys have tons of snow where you are, or has it backed off?
What are your plans for New Years? It's crazy to think that 2009 is almost over!!

Re: Holy Blizzard & New Years
We are staying home. We'll be at my parents' house for drinks and games. My dad got a smoked turkey and they might cook that, or we'll order pizza. Pretty broad choices there haha.
I can't believe 2009 is almost over. 2008 took forever because I wanted it to be May and poof now it's almost 2010. Crazy.

It's bitterly cold (30's - 40's is bitter in the South) but not snowing in AL.
We're going to dinner with a big group of friends tomorrow night then we might go to a local music venue but I'm not sure. Friends of ours are also hosting a big NYE party because it's also their 1st anniversary. We're going to try to at least stop by there, but I definitely don't want to spend all night!
We had snow one day earlier this month, but no snow now. It's in the 40's today in Tennessee.
I can believe that 2009 is over; what's weird to me is that we're entering a new decade!
I'm looking forward to 2009 being over. Yes, it was great because I got married and so did my sister. But it was crazy hectic and I'm looking forward to hopefully a bit more of a calm year. DH and I both have to work tomorrow so we will probably be so dang tired that we won't make it until midnight. I am pretty sure we went to bed last year around 10. I am looking forward to a 3 day weekend and taking down the tree and trying to get back to normal a bit.
I'm a bit exhausted if you can't tell. LOL!
I am so sick of snow!!!! About two weeks ago we got about 10 inches and then last week (Christmas Eve-Christmas Day-Saturday) we added another 8-9 inches. Woke up this morning to some flurries.
DH and I are doing a staycation (sp?) and spending the weekend in a hotel. I'm so excited to get some quality time as things have been crazy for a few months. I'm so thrilled to ring in 2010 with just DH.
TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
We live in South Louisiana and hardly ever get snow. It has been in the 40s lately.
We're having friends over for NYE. We're doing food, drinks, and fireworks. Just because I don't really want them drinking and driving, most of the people are sleeping over too.
2009 was great because of the wedding, but I have so many exciting things happening in 2010 that I'm ready for it: my best friend is getting married in 9 days, my sister will have her first baby in Feb, a few of my friends will also have babies, we'll be going on a cruise in July, we're making improvements on the house, and (the one I'm most excited about) we're going to start trying for a baby during the summer!!

We woke up to rain on Christmas, but it had turned to snow by the time our family Christmas dinner started.
2009 was a pretty good year, so I am really excited to see what 2010 brings.
It feels like it hasn't STOPPED snowing in forever around here (I live in IL). I woke up to it snowing again today
And its really cold. Oh well, that's what I get for living in the midwest! lol!
We don't have plans for NYE. I kinda have a hard time staying up past 10 or 11, so we'll see. We'll prob just hang at home. Or maybe with my parents. Dunno. I am definitely looking forward to 2010! Can't wait for our little one to arrive
No snow here...thank goodness! I've always felt like snow is dreamy to think about but hell to deal with.
We don't have any New Years plans except to sit around and enjoy each other. haha
I'm really sick of snow. Three weeks ago we had probably close to a foot of snow with high winds that shut everything down for a few days and then we had the massive Christmas blizzard last week where we were stranded at home for 4 days. So I could definitely be done with snow.
We have not plans for New Years. Just DH and I at our house.
It's crazy that 2009 is almost over. It has been a very eventful year. I can't wait for 2010.
