This. I don't know if I necessarily feel far behind on the baby thing, but definitely in the career/finances/house thing. I'm 28 and DH is 31.

I was thinking the exact same thing reading the baby poll... I have to remember to tell myself that there is a pretty wide age bracket here.

I'm 26 and M is 27. I think that we're doing pretty good for our age. We've had a house since we were 22 and 23. We really need to start building a savings account though. We both have a few small savings accounts, but my goal would be to have 25k saved for emergencies.

I think I'm the "old lady" of the group. I'm 34. That's one of the reason's DH & jumped on the baby bandwagon so quickly. We want to have more than 1 child and know beginning next year I'm considered high risk.

B and I are both turning the big 2-4 in February.

Still surprises me how many girls my age are TTC. I mean, I realize that goals and stuff are different, but... damn.

I think its funny that anything 33 and above falls under "over 33". (I'm one of the old fogey's @ 33) We did these polls several times pre-wedding and I think most people fell in the 25-28 range. I think there were a couple of us at 33, one at 35 and maybe an occasional poster who was like 39.

FWIW, I feel really old reading the posts sometimes. There was one post, not sure what board it was on and people were summarizing what happened in the last decade for them. Some of the ladies had things like graduating from high school on the list. My 15 yr reunion in in 2010. I didn't even graduate from college this decade.
