NHL - Rangers Tix?

My dad wants to take my sister to a Rangers game next week at MSG before she goes back to Australia.  Looks like there are two home games:

Mon vs. Bruins
Wed vs. Stars

I don't know much about the NHL, so have a couple questions:

1) Which game would be a better one to go to?

2) What's the best and cheapest way to get tickets?

3) Anything else I should let them know?

TIA!

Re: NHL - Rangers Tix?

  • I don't know much about the Rangers, but I would rather see Boston, personally. Both games would be fun I'm sure.

We have gone through StubHub to get Sabres tix before

  • Per DH, who is a major Rangers fan, Boston would be the better game to go to.  We have used Stub Hub before and have gotten pretty good deals.  There are a lot that are over priced on there too though.
  • I agree...Boston and StubHub
  • Dude, I would TOTALLY pick Bruins, but that's my humblest opinion.  We've done eBay before.  DH just seconded that the Stars game would be lame.

    Good luck.

PS DH just said you'll pay WAY more for the Boston game. =(

  • I vote Bruins. Try the Rangers website for ticketmaster ticket exchange. NHL teams all have these and they are season ticketholders who post their tickets. As a season ticket holder, I post there a lot (but in DC though). Craigslist could also be a place to search (in NYC of course).
