We try really hard not to have expectations for sex...I find that if I feel like "we are supposed to have sex now" I have a hard time enjoying myself. So, sometimes we do, sometimes we don't...it depends on our moods and what else we have going on that day.

Not always, same goes for holidays I suppose to. If I am sick, have my period or too tired its pretty much a no go anyway, so bdays are pretty much just like any other day.

yeah I think we probably have sex on each others birthday, it's not like a 'must do' thing but I think it usually happens like that. I always love to stay in on my birthday, he makes dinner or we order in for our favourite place, watch a movie or play a game, have some wine, It's usually really relaxing and he's usually trying extra hard to pamper me and make me feel special and relaxed...when all this is happening it's just a really easy transition to sex.

Honestly, I don't remember. I don't think I really expect it anymore than any other day, but that's just me.

I do know that I always make a point to do fun bedroom things for DH's birthday though....since he loves that, of course.

the last birthday i wasnt with anyone but my new boyfriend birthday was a couple of weeks ago and my gift was letting him run the show... and he loved it i know when my birthday comes around he will do the same for me!

Not usually...because the past few years it's been a drill weekend for him so he's been out of town...before that, it was basically end of semester for me so in addition to working full time I'd be stressed out about that and just not a good combination.

Yes, I always do. Whether it be before the alcohol of after is another story. We have sex every day so having sex on my bday is just like any other day.

It depends if I have family staying with us. Like this year my mom had to be here for my H's b-day, so no. Two years ago, my brother was in town for mine, so no. Also I'm Jewish, so not on my period or the week after unitl I go to a ritual cleansing bath called a mikveh. After that we can as much as we want.

Dunno.....I can't remember whether or not we had sex on a specific date 3 1/2 months ago. But even if we didn't, I'm sure we did either the day before or the day after. Or the day before and the day after. And many days since then, but not all of them.

I think it depends on how I feel that day. If it's a weekend and we go out, I usually drink to much to be able to go at it. If it's during the week and I am super tired from work, it's definately not happening. DH complains if he doesn't get it on his birthday lol.

If it happens it happens, if not, you get over it.

Last 2 years we have had people over for New Year's Eve (aka my birthday) so we are busy getting things ready for guest. Had great day before birthday sex though!
