Buffy & movie reviews 3-5
I started watching season one. I love the campiness of it and Angel - I forgot how hot he was in that series. I will take my vampires hot and brooding like him, not sparkly like that other douchemonkey.
I also watched District 9 and Public Enemies. They were ok butwere way to slow for my liking.
500 Days of Summer - I liked it. It's lite chic flick, H watched it and thought it was funny and not sappy

We shut District 9 off about 30 mins into it. Way too slow for us and it was just a really weird movie. Does it get better later into it at all??
M liked District 9, myself, not so much, like you I found it to be slow, it wasn't a horrible movie though. We saw that one in theater and M bought it when it came out (on his PS3). I think he also bought Public Enemies (if not he rented it) on his PS3, either way I didn't care for it. I don't recall hearing of 500 days, I'll have to check that one out.
As far as Buffy and Angel go, I never got into either show, M liked Buffy. He has also recently got into Charmed.
I love Angel so much that I adjusted my work out time to be at 5 in the morning instead of at night so that I can watch Angel reruns.

And I agree, even though I pph Twilight, Angel is a much better and hotter vampire. Vampires shouldn't sparkle. They should be manly and sexy when they take their shirts off.
Also my DVR is full of Angel episodes that I didn't get up for during maternity leave so now I can work out and watch them anytime.
I look like a huge freak but am going to post this anyways.
It does get better but it's still slow

Bahahaha! THANK YOU! I just don't get the obsession, I think Robert Pattinson is dirty and gangly and weird looking. I just finished reading the series (MIL is obsessed and bought me the hardcover set for xmas..."it's a classic, my granddaughter will read it someday"
). It was just ok. I've only seen the first movie and it was pretty painful.
Sorry, I don't have anything else to add, I've never seen an episode of angel, buffy, or any of those movies *shrug*
