Seventh Anniversary 5000 Comments 25 Love Its Name Dropper
in June 2009 Weddings
I'm trying to update my blog and I can't figure out how on earth to change the color of the background of my posts.  I've gone into "fonts and colors" and changed them all about 9812374109823912837891237 times trying to figure it out.  Anyone have any idea?  TIA

    I think it actually has to do with the template that you're using. Also, check the HTML code (I know nothing about codes...I just know that that's where you have to change it!)

    The page background isn't an option anywhere else...at least, not that I've found...

    Hmm....I'm bad with this stuff, too.  I've tried three different layouts, though, and it stays the same on all three.Angry

    You can change it on the fonts and colors page so long as you dont have a pre-colored template.  If you choose one of blogspot's standard templates (i.e. dont import it from somewhere else - I have no idea then) you should go to the fonts and colors tab.  Then it will give you a bunch of options for what to change on the left, select the background, title color etc and choose a color for each.  It should let you preview it to know it worked.  This is the only way I've ever done it so if that doesnt work for you, I have no more computer skills.

    Even if you've imported a template, I think you can still change things like font color.  Not positive though.  What Hawkilady said is how I change stuff.  I have an imported template in there now and am pretty sure I can change stuff following her directions.

    That's what I had done and I couldn't get it to work.
