Planned Eating/Exercise Thread idea

I lurk on H&F and they have a daily Planned Eating/Exercise Thread.  Would anyone be interested in something like that here?  I'd rather post here than join in on H&F.

I find I eat better if I plan my meals out, and I'm hoping that if I post what kind of exercise I'll be getting maybe it will make me actually do it.

I'm more than happy to post it every morning, or if Karrey wants to since she usually does the "what's for B,L,D" threads that's fine with me too!

  • I'm horrible when it comes to planning meals (envy Agent on this...=)), but I'd def be in for the workout stuff.  Who knows? Maybe it will motivate me to plan more for food and not have a ton of crap hanging around the fridge (which I cleaned yesterday-btw)  I think we have a. too much processed stuff in the house and b. a fridge that is TOO small!

    I've come to the conclusion that we need a deep freezer.  One of those chest ones to keep in the garage.  I just can't keep enough on hand for nights where we need quick healthy meals and we end up ordering out.  It would also be nice if we had a pantry.

    Would you want to do a daily thing or would you want to do a weekly check in?  Two seperate posts? One for food one for exercise?  I'm happy to change up BLD if we want. 

    I do know if feel better when I have to fess up to what I am actually eating lol.

  • I would be really interested in this too!  I am trying to eat really well, but my exercise is seriously lacking.  Because of this I am developing my mother's thighs, there is just no reason for that.

  • I am also in... although my plan is more of a daily calorie count than anything else.  I also need the accountability.
  • I'm in!  I've been running 3 miles every day and am commited to getting up at the azz crack of dawn to continue it when I go back to work so I NEED someone to hold me accountable.  

    Eating is another story, DH and I need to really sit down and talk about changing the way we eat.  Its just so hard to meal plan when you can barely sit down for a meal together.

    Absolutley not your fault.  I think we all just fizzled out lol.
