I Never Use This Term but FML

Nothing says welcome back to work like frozen pipes, broken elevator, heaters starting on fire, plumbing not working, and bitching coworkers!

Vent Over, Time to Put Out More Fires (hopefully not literally again).

Re: I Never Use This Term but FML

  • Oh no, that blows. Not a good way to come back from vacation!
  • Oh geeze!  I think I would turn around and go back to bed.
  • Hopefully it can only get better from here!

    that blows!

Our heat at work has been broken for a MONTH! Which believe it or not it DOES get cold in AZ. I have a little temp gage at me desk and its betwen 68 and 70 right now! My hands are sooo stiff its hard to type!

Its like $4000 to fix it, so I am not sure if the owner is just riding out the winter or what! Eeep

We (obviously) have heat here in Iowa.  Even with it set at 70 the house won't warm up past 64 this entire week of cold so we have TWO space heaters running in the living room when we're downstairs and one that runs all night (its a safe one, don't worry, you won't read about us in the news!)

It STINKS.  All I want to do is take a hot bath!  I even bought snow boots to wear around the house to keep my toesies warm!

  • My parents keep the heat at 60. In MA. On top of a very windy hill. It's painful.
