It's official..
we're TTCing this year 
. I have not started charting. I leisurely read TCOYF last year but I have to review/read it again. I am excited but at the same time scared I might have a hard time conceiving 
. I don't know if it is just me but at the back of my mind I have that fear. Wish me luck and yes, please give me a glass of THAT water lol .

I asked DH on NYE when he thought he might be ready to start trying. He turned pale and I think I spoiled his evening.
oh well, with my new job I am not ready now anyway...maybe 2011 for us??
DH had the same reaction when we first talked about it about a year ago. I don't think there is anything wrong with you asking. I think it's good to know to have an idea when you both want to start trying so you can prepare physically, emotionally, financially, etc.

Have fun and try not to worry...it takes most couples up to a year to concieve. If you're charting and timing BMS then maybe 6 months...enjoy the process!

yay! how exciting!
We had been trying since July, but this was only my 2nd month charting. I am sure charting made it a lot easier (and I really appreciated getting to know my body better), but I also think my body really just got back to normal after almost a decade on BC pills.
I am sure you will have no problems!! Congratulations!

I had the same fears, especially because my cycles were SUPER irregular. But we got pg on cycle 3 just by charting and using OPKs. So if I can do it, you can do it!
Congrats and welcome to the club. We are also TTC this year. I started temping and charting in August when I got off the pill, but I've since stopped because the past 3 cycles have been long but right on schedule. I get pretty noticeable ovulation pains, so I take that as my sign!
