Accountability for fitness/health goals

DH and I need to lose the 10 pounds we've both gained since the wedding but want to do it in a smart way.  We're going to the gym and on a healthy meal plan (rather than a diet because I suck at those) and cutting out soda, etc.

We always struggle with accountability whenever we do this, so I was trying to figure out what we could do.  Because we do it together, its really easy for one of us to talk the other one out of going to the gym, going out for a couple of beers, etc.  I wish I could hire a personal trainer but I'm not willing to spend the money right now.  We have a mini-vacation with a bunch of other couples coming up at the end of February so that's our current goal, lose the 10 pounds before that weekend.

I set up a Spark People account but it just seems like a pain to enter everything but I'm going to try it.  I'm guessing it will be sort of like the "Lose it" app on my iphone that I havent updated since about 2 weeks after I downloaded it.

Can we start a workout accountability thread on here again?  I know someone brought this up last week or so...

Anyone have any other suggestions?
