Worst Present Poll
I think this has been done before but does anyone have any really funny horrible present stories?
my sister just called to tell me that our grandma called to tell her that she thinks she gave my christmas present to her by accident... my grandma is probably 85 yrs old and a hoarder. Every year she wraps up items she's hoarded throughout the years and gives them to us as presents... bdays, christmas, etc. This year good old grandma couldn't find my present but my sister got 2...
a toaster cover which probably dates back to the 70's and a snow hat... i hope my present was the snow hat! lmao

do we have to talk about my kleenex and soap gift? Nothing says happy birthday like you smell and don't forget to blow your noise.
we have a lot of clothes for Katie that have some sort of Disney character on them. I don't do Disney.
Generally we get good gifts though. We didn't even get anything too random for our wedding.
I don't believe I've received anything truly awful or offensive. But last year for Christmas I got an ostentatious Rocawear hoodie. It's a black base and says "Rocawear" in gold allllllll over it.
The most recent thing was a towel from a family member. It's cute, but we're not sure what it's for. I'm assuming dish towel because it has oven mitts on it, but Daniel told me he wasn't quite sure how to react because he didn't know what it was for. lol. Oh well it will be in the kitchen!
hmm... my grandmother sounds like Pam's! I got used Bubble bath one year!
ahah gotta love the grandma gifts! that might beat out Kara's soap and kleenex lol
My Darling Husband gave me clorox toilet bowl drops in and trash bags as a gift for Christmas this year!
The first year we were together he bought me a leather whip. I opened it in front of his entire family. I was soooo embarrassed!!!
I usually get strange gifts, but a great gift. He loves to give insane gifts!
Oh I am soooo happy to hear another person doesn't do Disney clothes for babies. I HATE Disney clothes on babies! I am not a fan of anything characters for babies.
Yeah, I feel bad doing it, but I'm going to have to figure out how to post a picture of a sweater my great aunt sent Liam. It is rainbow striped with animals in felt sewn on it- and our favorite part is a lion getting rained on...?
