I'm soooo cool!
Well back at work today after a long 2 week break. I got up early, put on a fairly decent outfit, and got to school in plenty of time to set up. Things are going well for a Monday.
My teacher assistant arrives, we chat for 5 minutes, then she breaks it to me...I've got on two different shoes. A brown boot on the left and a black boot on the right. Yep I've been walking around all day with two different colored shoes...got to love it when you also get called out by developmentally delayed 5 years olds who barely know their colors.

Catching up on sports news...
When I was a kid, I used to purposefully mismatch my socks and when my family/friends would ask about it, I'd tell them I was using my artistic license and expressing myself... so two different shoes make you cool in MY book
Just so everyone knows I have on 2 black shoes today. I was extra careful getting dressed.
I did just try to own it yesterday, when the kids pointed out I was like good for you, you recognized what's different. Turned in into a mini lesson on same/different.
Don't think they bought it though!
