Yes, the prostate is in the anus. It is located on the interior wall, a couple of inches from the opening.
You can provide a certain level of stimulation with firm pressure on the perineum. You might also want to hold a vibrator in your hand while applying that pressure --- your hand will transmit the sensations to the sensitive area.
If you want to try some anal stimulation with a minimum of mess, put on a latex glove (unpowdered). With your partner laying on his back, apply a small bit of lubricant to your index finger and gently slide it into the anal opening, finger pads up.
