Ladies who are NOT TTC...
Don't you just hate it when people ask you if your pregnate. Like if you say "I'm not feeling well", "I'm craving _____", or anything else to give them an excuse to ask if there's a "bun in the oven" UGH!! That just gets on my nerves. I mean can't a girl crave some Chinese and NOT be pregnant!!
But I'm crazy...
What about ya'll?
Re: Ladies who are NOT TTC...
I know. It's so aggravating. Especially because even doctors do it to you. I had a panic attack once that landed me in the emergency room and the doctor would. not. believe. I wasn't knocked up.
Well, at least she didn't say you were looking plump and therefore KU, right?
My OBGYN seems to think I should be all about TTCing, and I'm like, listen pal, this is a baby free zone! Not for several more years, when I'm out of school and bringing in an income. He followed up by saying that I can go to school and raise a child. Yes, I CAN but I CHOOSE not to, for my own personal sanity.
This is frustrating! I hate the pressue from family. I got really irked at Christmas because everyone kept forcing me to hold my cousins baby saying "doesn't that make you want one??" Ummmm... NO!
I HATE it!! As soo as I got back to work after the wedding/honeymoon, I had a ton of people asking me if I was pg. I was like...No.
A few months ago I had a girl at work ask me. I was like WTF!?
If you are asking that means I look big enough to be.
The worst is the doctor. I understand having to be asked for certain procedures like xrays, but any time I go to the dr. I do not need to be asked I've been sick for a month with a soar throat & stuffy/runny nose. The 1st week I had a stomach virus and was nauseous & almost passed out a few times. The next 2 weeks I just couldn't breathe and had a terrible soar throat (still am sick now). So I went to the NP here and he asks, could you be pregnant? I'm like well it's possible but unlikely.Since when does pregnancy bring with it soar throats and stuffy soar noses when it's flu season? Ugggg, it's so annoying.
That is ridiculous. Two years ago, I asked my gyno about a IUD and she said that I might want to consider having a family after I got married. I told her I was planning on waiting about 3 - 5 years, but she still wasn't comfortable doing it.
Even my orhto thought I had babies on the brain when I saw him the first time. He saw the ring on my finger and assumed I was worried about back pain and being pregnant at the same time . . . Nope, I'm worried about back pain and LIVING at the same time. We'll go done that road in a few years.
