Speaking of TTC and dumb things people say....
Caught up with a "long lost friend" on FB that asked me via her status update (shes a newb) if I had any kids yet.
I kindly replied, "no not yet, working on it."
She replies, "you should TOTALLY use insert website for telling you when you will get your period and most fertile days here.com (not for charting BBT or anything just your cycles). It totally worked for me and everyone else that I have told about it. So-and-so just got pregnant using it last month. TONS of people get knocked up so fast with it. you should try it."

I have an IRL friend who knows we were TTC for a year - and she told me she wants to get KU in July 2010 to time pregnancy with her teaching breaks...she asked me if I thought that was possible. WTF??? yeah - it'll for sure happen your 1st month - but it too us 12. What did she think I'd say?

I love my friends take on pregnancy myself - that I got stretch marks and jiggly post baby abs from not lotioning. And that I tore bc I didn't do enough Kegels.
I hope she gets covered in stretchies!
I mean I get that people don't automatically know that we have been trying for 2 + years and have already had 1 m/c but still......you have NO idea what a person is/has gone through in there life. Much like when I say I feel so old.....and then people tell me I am too young to feel that way. HOW THE EFF DO YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL?! Grrrrr....
Yes, lotion alone allows you to not get stretch marks.....but a HUGE percentage of pregnant women are just too dumb to know that. Stupid girl. lol
Yikes ... she must be one of those lucky "fertile ones" everyone always talks about. I'm sure her intentions were good, but it was probably all you could do to not launch into a tirade of all you've tried!
