Middle of the night Charlie Horses?
Any of you other PG ladies getting these? I know they're common in pregnancy, but OMFG !
@#$%^&I#*&! - seriously awaking to a charlie horse in each calf at 2am is no freaking fun. It is so flippin painful.
Re: Middle of the night Charlie Horses?
This is legal advice. Circa 2011
I eat the hell out of bananas lol, at least 2 a day.
wow! well "they" say that the reason for charlie horses is that your body is low on potassium. Another good thing, though I find it's disgusting is to drink pickle juice. But the smell makes me gag. But if your leg hurts after a charlie horse, that's supposed to make the pain go away pronto!
That's what I say too. I was going to suggest bananas as well. Try to up your water intake. Which if you're like me will be hard to do. I'm already drinking an assload of H2O.
I also get Mr.Shoe to rub my calves at night before bed sometimes. That seems to help.
Lastly, when I feel one coming on, I immediately flex my feet upwards. That seems to ward off the pain.
