No Wedding Pictures yet..

i saw the post below about people not having wedding pictures yet. I was married on 10/10 and i haven't heard a word from my photographer since then. I've called, left messages and e-mails. I dont know what else to do. His address on the site is his home address so i feel really weird about just showing up there but i feel like thats my only option left.

Any one else have problems like this or any advice on what i should do?

Re: No Wedding Pictures yet..

  • Holy cow, I would freak out.  Do you have a contract with the photog?  Did it give an estimate on how long it would take?  Did you already pay for everything?

  • Personally, I'd be banging on his door looking for my pictures.  It's been almost three months.  You're a lot more patient than I am!!

  • I'd be at his house knocking on the door personally.  That is completely too long to wait.
  • yes i have a contract and its states 4 weeks.  I only paid him half and the other half was due when he delivered the pictures.

I'm super frustrated at this point...

  • I'd send a certified letter saying that if you don't hear from him in XX amount of days you will contact a lawyer regarding his breach of contract. That way he definitely knows you mean business.

I understand that life gets in the way sometimes (although if you own your own business you should be able to handle those things) And maybe he has a good excuse for not having the pictures ready yet, but to not even respond to your for almost 3 months is absolutely unacceptable.

This, for sure.  Any time a private contractor (of any kind) doesn't return calls... it makes me very nervous.  T&P being sent your way.

  • Oh - and make a copy of the letter.
