I came to work dressed like this:

Cute, right?
But now I look like this. (One of the reasons I love my stupid job.)

Re: I feel ridiculous.
SBS, Even I'm not sure. It's basically a backward robe. It doesn't even tie in the back so it's all hospital gown-esque. But it is quite cozy. And us crazy East Coasters with our subzero temps need all the extra warmth in the winter!
Fancy - Rawr!

Zee, that's just... wow. I wish you would have snapped a pic!
Walt, I secretly wished I got the leopard instead of the pink. Oh well.
Hawki, what's wrong with a scarf??
Leigha, I shall email.

Well, I do appreciate the Longhorn shade of orange. haha
I think they need to have petite snuggies. Because this is hideously long and I have to hold it with my hands when I walk around.

My sister-in-law tied a hair tie around extra fabric at the nap of her neck and behind her calves to make it stay up and around her. It was hilarious.
So cute! I love your office mames.
I think now that I'm officially part of this stinky cold weather club, I may have to get one too!!?
Thanks, angel! BU for you, btw.
Hopefully you won't need a Snuggie and your cold weather will just vanish!

I wore mine as a robe the other day and tucked the top part into my collar and the bottom part into my underwear. It was fabulous....... and so warm.
I'm SO on Team Snuggie.

hm..there was a guy in my class to wore one to school (like walked across campus in it) and during our class. Old crotchety law professor was not that amused.
I've heard from reliable sources that Snuggies serve many useful purposes. ; )

for my birthday my bro got me a pink snuggie that says Snugg Life on the front in big gothic letters... err... yeah. Not a pink person.... not an As Seen on TV person....
Turns out it's actually fabulous couchwear. I don't think you're meant to go anywhere though... what with the open back (very drafty when I get up to refresh my tea!) and the superlong front... but the length does come in handy to cover my feet when I stretch out on the couch. The other issue is static... I gave DH a nasty shock yesterday. Kudos to the woman who was able to maneuver it at CVS.
Yes, the static is deadly. Do you ever have a cat sit on your lap while you're wearing one? Petting him could solve the energy crisis. Totally a renewable resource.

Yeah, today I figured out that if you stand up and twist the front of the snuggie, then toss it over your shoulder, it becomes much more manageable for walking. sort of pashmina-esque. I celebrated by wearing it while making dinner.... until the sleeves got in the way.
but that's just how I roll in the Snugg Life... you gotta take risks... (I now have gangsta's paradise running through my head for no good reason)
I haven't tried any cat-snuggie experiments (I'm allergic) and have so far avoided any labrador-snuggie incidents... although the dog does seem to enjoy sleeping on it when I'm not home. Someone should really look into the whole static-as-renewable-resource thing, I think you might be onto something.
