My parents have asked for my help planning my brother's rehearsal dinner in June. It's on a Thursday night, and they are expecting between 70 and 80 guests. The bride and her family are from Boone Co., so we need to stay in NKy.
My parents were thinking about The Gardens or Marquis, but McHale's caters both, and the wedding is being catered by McHale's. Any suggestions??
TIA!
Re: RD in NKy?
I don't know if you have thought about the Madison - they are really trying to bring in business right now, so I would bet they're willing to negotiate on pricing.
For a party of that size, you could also do Receptions or maybe even B&B Riverboats might be nice. And I think Molly Malone's in Covington has a second floor you could reserve just for your party.

My sister's reception is at the Madison in Nov. Her quote was less $$ but she has 100 more guests than we had. I agree, they want people to book them!
Receptions might give you a good deal too.

We had it at the Gardens of Park Hills and it was one of my favorite vendors. They did a great job and the food was awesome.
I think as long as you have a different type of entree for the wedding than the rehearsal you will be fine. We had chicken and roast beef for our reception and turkey and pork for our rehearsal dinner.
Our wedding reception was at the Madison and I honestly could rave about that place for hours! They are amazing and the food was REALLY good! They gave us a free open bar which saved us SO much!
Our RD was very casual and low key, we had it at Willies in Covington. They were very accomodating and I would definately go there again for a RD if that is the atmosphere you are looking for.
