I had an old friend come to town over New Years. She was supposed to stay at one of our mutual friends but that friend is recently pregnant and having a really rough time (she's really sick and has lost some weight) so I stepped in and picked her up at the airport, she stayed with us for 2 days and I drove her around so she could get some errands done. And we drove her to another town to drop her off with some of her other friends (this wasn't out of the way for us as we were headed that direction for NYE and we dropped her off on our way). So now she is flying back tomorrow and needs a place to stay tonight. I just don't have the energy to go pick her up tonight, and drive her to the airport in the morning. I told her we were busy tonight (which we may be an other friend may be staying at our house-but most likely he won't be-he said this week-most likely he will be at our house on Thursday) I just don't want to deal with the hassle. She's a good person and I love her but I just started back to work and don't really want to mess up my schedule again. And this whole trip wasn't planned in advanced, she's kinda doing the "I will just see what happens" vacation. I'm not going to offer my place tonight for her to stay, does that make me a bad person?
