Sadness :(
My uncle just passed away. He'd been very sick for the last month - 2 heart attacks, pacemaker, triple bypass, and now cardiac arrest. He and my aunt had discussed it and she honored his Living Will wishes.
The sad part is they were married for 58 years. They had no children of their own (although some of my cousins live nearby) and he was an immigrant with no family in the US. I feel so horrible for my aunt - he was truly her world. Now at 80, she has to learn to live without him

It sounds like he had a long, happy life. Your poor aunt.
I'm so sorry for your loss and that your aunt has to go through something so upsetting.
I'll be thinking about you and your family!
I can imagine her void now, after only being married 3 years let alone 58.
It sounds like you hope to be there for her and that's going to mean the world to her!
