Eating well, being good...Tim Hortons Sabotage?
Anyone who knows me knows that I am a coffee-aholic. I love my Tim Hortons coffee, I enjoy the occasional Starbucks treat, Second Cup, etc. I've been working hard to improve my eating habits and my goal is to lose 15 pounds in 2 months or so. On my daily runs to Tim Hortons (sometimes up to 3x/day), I noticed that they are offering a deal: buy any beverage and get any donut for $0.49. WTF. I haven't indulged, but it's SUPER difficult to avoid it and maintain my self control. I don't want to crack, but I know I will eventually! Arrghh!!!
Re: Eating well, being good...Tim Hortons Sabotage?
I guess they see their donut sales slip in January with all the New Year's resolutions out there and they are trying to do something about it!
Be strong!!!!
Maybe this will help?? Every time I think I want to eat a donught (b/c come on, they look delicious)....I tell myself that it is fried in animal fat & it makes me not want it.
I have nothing to stop me from buying M&Ms though....
Wow, 15 pounds in two months is ambitious!
Would it help to set rewards, like you can have one donut for every five pounds lost? One donut won't ruin your diet -- as long as you can stick to just one.
Good luck!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
