Since its slow...lets start a list (s/o of my night sky post)
Of the great things in life that don't cost a thing.....we'll keep AT's positive outlook going.
Re: Since its slow...lets start a list (s/o of my night sky post)
1. On Monday, DH found $20 while doing a repair w/ his company.
2. Yesterday, I found a $50.11 check that I had put in a pile of things to shred. It was from USAA and I thought it was one of those checks where, when you cash them, it automatically signs you up for something that eventually turns into a lot of money out of your pocket. I decided to call USAA and see if it was legit... it was. Turns out, USAA sends their people a check when they have "a good year."
3. The above two things are almost $100 worth of FREE money this week... and I do love money.
4. My husband has been so freaking supportive of me the last few days. He's been feeding me with positive thoughts, telling me how much he loves me, and all the things I really need to hear to feel secure.
5. Yesterday, he texted me this: "I just wanted to say that you mean the world to me and I love you very much." That really made my day.
6. The love I get from my animals... free and makes me feel super good.
7. Dancing - it's free, it makes me feel great, it's good for me, it's something I'm good at, and it really helps me relax.
Sex...
Sex is free...
I like sex.
The sound of water in a babbling brook. Ahh so nice!
Facebook!
Holding my baby niece. She was born 3 months early, but is now a happy, healthy 6 months old!
And I agree... cuddling with the hubby!
1. a nice hot bath...in theory will cost me in water and gas to heat it but basically free haha
2. snuggling with my doggies!
3. walks with DH and Dogs
4. playing scrabble with DH
teasing the cat and dog, GREAT entertainment
Parks! (althought, I guess you could argue this because I pay taxes)
Nature--it can be so beautiful
Baseball games on radio--and I'll say I don't mind hockey games on radio either. It costs a little to power the radio, but it's just pennies--and I just LOVE those forums for those two sports
Cycling--professional cycling events rarely (if ever) charge admission to watch their events, and I get SOO much pleasure from watching it, and any basic bike is just FUN to go out and ride, especially on a bright sunny (warm) day!
Music... it's free if you listen on the radio or on the internet!
The love from my DH
My friendship with my BFF Boxer_Mommy
The beach - the sounds of the waves hitting the shore, the feel of sand between my toes
Walking outside in the spring/summer with no shoes on
Sitting on my front porch with DH talking and laughing
Sitting by the firepit - with DH talking and laughing
Skype. It's free!
My BFF and I (she lives in CO) get on Skype and do our workouts together via a webcam so we don't lose inspiration. It's so much fun working out with a friend.
