***triple777***

I was just wondering how you're feeling?  I know you figured you'd go late, so that's a good thing (they were sure I'd go early with Ruari, and I was over a week late...induced...so I was pretty annoyed).  Are you getting anxious?  Are you feeling well?

Re: ***triple777***

  • Hey! I'm doing well, the mental waiting game is harder to deal with than the physical one... especially since people around me keep asking where the baby is (as if I am in charge of when baby will arrive, lol)

How are you doing? I can't imagine running around after a little one at this stage! I was holding some friend's babies and toddlers on the weekend, man is it hard to do with my big belly! I was thinking how tough it must be for pregnant mom's who have a little one at home. I'm guessing you're pretty ready for baby to come, although it must be somewhat bittersweet to know these are your last few days with just you and Ruari before the new little one arrives.

Are you finding this pregnancy very different from your last?

  • Ah yes...I remember the 'have you had the baby yet?' phone calls.  My ILs called Sunday night to make sure there wasn't any news...ummm..yeah, we had the baby but didn't call you.

Ruari's pretty self-sufficient, so it's not too bad.  She goes to daycare 2 days a week, so it's a nice break for the both of us.  Physically I'm feeling WAY better than last time.  I had horrible back pain from about 6 months on with Ruari.  I started going to the chiro last year, and I really think it's helped me this time around.

I've been cramping on and off for the past three days, which I never did with Ruari.  I was induced at 41w1d with Ru, so I don't even know what to expect when it comes to labour...which is making me nervous!  Part of me is ready to get this show on the road, whereas the other part is quite happy to enjoy my time off with Ru...and let's be honest...it'll come when it comes =)  I'd just like to go into labour on my own this time.

My fingers are crossed for you that it'll happen soon.  I don't know about you, but I'm finding that daytime TV totally sucks =)
