F&B related: Holy grail products
Occasionally on F&B we discuss our holy grail products aka. products we love, rave about, and will always gravitate toward.
What are your favorite F&B holy grail items?

Re: F&B related: Holy grail products
A few of mine:
Revlon Colorstay liquid foundation
Diorshow mascara

Hope in a Jar Moisturizer by Philosophy -- I've switched to cheaper drugstore products so many times and always go back, I love this stuff.
TIGI Catwalk Root Boost -- its the only thing that ever gives my fine hair any body.
Maybelline waterproof mascara -- either lash discovery or colossal, every other brand I've tried, including some more expensive brands either flakes off or irritates my eyes.

haha, I have so many!
Revlon Colorstay Foundation
Maybelline Define-A-Lash mascara
Paul Mitchell Quick Slip
L'Oreal Pro Shampoo & Conditioner
T3 Blow Dryer
Clarisonic
Clinique Foaming Face Wash (now discontinued, bastards!)
Hydroxatone
hawki - I was just looking at Hope in a Jar, but without knowing if I'll love it, I couldn't justify the price tag just yet.
angel - Where do you find the Quick Slip? I've been looking everywhere!

Also, I'm SILVER now!
I have no life.

Mames - I first tried it about 3 years ago when my skin got pretty dry even in the summer and it's great. It's a really light moisturizer so it never feels greasy to me. If you have a sephora, they sell sample sizes in the store for around $10 that would last you a couple weeks.

I have SO many, but I'll share my top five...
1. Kiehls Abyssine Cream - I've used it for 10 years. My skin does not feel "normal" without it anymore.
2. Frederic Fekkai Shea Butter Hair Mask - No matter how much I damage my hair (sun, color treatments etc), half an hour with this stuff leaves it feeling baby soft.
3. DiorShow Mascara - As a mascara junkie, I've tried everything. Literally. Unless they change the formula or brush, I'll be a lifetime customer.
4. Natura Bisse Sun Defense Fluid - It is the only sunblock I've found that doesn't leave my skin greasy, sticky, or smelling like a pina colada. Without it, I would have been a lobster at my Mexican wedding!
5. Jurlique Lavender Hand Cream - Heaven in a bottle. I never leave home without it.
Ok, I lied. I cannot leave out my Clarisonic. Best. Purchase. Ever.
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.
One&Only Palmilla - Los Cabos, Mexico

Definitely DiorShow BlackOut Mascara. I've tried regular DiorShow, but I prefer the color of the BlackOut much better.
I also love Redken All Soft Shampoo & Conditioner. I've tried just about every high end, $40-for-5oz brand out there and I always come back to my All Soft.
Lastly, I just found a new mousturizer that's absolutely amazing! I bought it at Costco of all places the other day and I love it!! I've tried just about every moisturizer on the market and this one just "looked right" in the package so I tried it out.
One more. Can't leave out my Sonicare toothbrush! I'll never go back to a regular toothbrush as long as I live. My teeth just feel dirty without it!
Congrats on being silver! We can have no life together
I got my QuickSlip at Ulta. This sounds strange, but if you have a Wal-Mart and it has the 'hair salon' inside of it, you can probably get it there. I know my Wal-Mart's salon here carries it, but it's like a little city unto its own.
Choo--you're back! How was your trip? Any fab stories for us?
I'm baaaaack.
Trip was fun but I've learned that cruising is really nms. I promise to share funny photos/stories after I finish this mountain of laundry (I'm on load 4 of 7!). Thank god I'm like the one person in NYC that has a washer/dryer in my apartment. I swear, if I didn't, I'd consider throwing out all these dirty clothes and starting over!
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.
One&Only Palmilla - Los Cabos, Mexico
I agree. Not a fan of the boat/cruising thing myself. I get soooo motion sick that it's really not even worth it for me. I hear you on the washer/dryer thing--that is a luxury! I didn't have one for 3 years (in PB) and it sucked the big one!! Ok, check in and share when you have time!
angel - I thought we already had no life together.
I don't have an Ulta and we don't have a fancy Walmart that has a salon. Ugh. I'll just order online if you're SURE I will love it!
Lucy Elizabeth 10.27.12
I mean, I love it! My mom likes it, EHayes likes it. I hope you will like it but I cannot guarantee it 100 percent. How about this, if you don't like it, I will buy it from you!!
Haha. I'm sure I won't hate it.
But give me a refresher -- what does it DO? Does it help with frizzies?

<a href="http://s205.photobucket.com/albums/bb264/chaleybeth06/?action=view
I started using Quick Slip after we talked about it that one time! I do like it--it smells nice--and I guess it makes my hair softer. Just checking--do you cover all of your clothes to avoid damage like the bottle warns you to? I do not, but am I being foolish?
And I could not live without Make Up For Ever foundation and L'Oreal Beauty Tubes mascara. And gloss. Currently I am loving Buxom Lips (well, currently being about the last three years)

I use the Quick Slip because it adds shine, tames frizzies and cuts my drying time in half. I don't know about making softer or anything else it claims, sorry
But for me personally, it's just like the Super Skinny Serum in that it cuts drying time, but I find it adds a nice shine too.
Lark-so cool you're using it too, I am surprised you haven't noticed more of a difference though. I noticed an immediate improvement in my hair after I used it. I don't cover my clothes no, but I am usually right out of the shower when I use it.
I like Buxom gloss too (I only have Katie), but for some reason, mine doesn't seem to last very long ??

LOL at the CS comment! I am starting to feel that way about the Clarisonic Qs too!! haha. Don't apply it to WET WET hair. I let mine sit for 10 minutes or so after I towel-dry then put it on. It can also be applied to dry hair.
Lark- your hair is gorg!! Start a blog!!
After a little F&B lurking, I have tried and fallen for Revlon Colorstay.
I also really like my Korres mascara. I love that it doesn't irritate my eyes.
I am going to have to try this Quick Slip you speak of.... I'm needing to make some major changes to my hair.
I'm proud (maybe not the right word) that I was using Colorstay before the mass F&B frenzy. Woohoo.
Lucky, you need a bio or blog or something. What does your hair currently look like?
Lucy Elizabeth 10.27.12
I've actually been thinking about the blog but haven't taken the time to start it. Here is the only recent pic of me with my hair down (sorry it is gigantic). It tends to live in a pony tail
The biggest problem is that it is so thick, I can't find anyone that is willing to do something other than crazy layers.
Lucy Elizabeth 10.27.12
Ironically, I was thinking about starting a blog today: Things I Want to Have. It could be knowledge or attractive people, but what got it all started was this:
I love poppies drooooooooooooool
<a href="http://www.thenest.com/?utm_source=ticker&utm_medium=HTML&utm_campaign=tickers" title="D
I straighten it maybe once a week. I'm hoping Quick Slip will help. I liked Super Skinny serum but ran out and was debating whether or not I wanted to try something else.
Lark - I love the blog idea! I was thinking of doing the 101 in 1001 and I'm sure that will be part of my eventual blog.
