Question about clothes driers
is there a way to say filter if you will, the cold air from coming back into the drier? our drier vents right to the outside, so when you open the drier door after it's been ran, it's cold in there. All the clothes are cold (given the sit in the drier overnight)
I'm sorry if this doesnt make much sense. I just wonder if there's a way to prevent the cold air from coming back into the drier.
Re: Question about clothes driers
Can you install a one way opening cover for where the hot air comes out of?
So that when air comes out it flap opens, and when it doesn't come out it closes?
?
Mr. HVACman says there is a damper in the outside hood that should close when the dryer is done. His best guest is missing, broken, or plugged up with lint and stuck open.
Shall I send him on a service call? lol
