To my favorite Gerrie! 2009 brought all sorts of wonderful and awful to you, but you stayed strong and I admire you so much for that.
I can't wait to meet up with you again and have some mini hamburgers and cocktails. You're such a great beautiful woman with an awesome sense of style and humor. You're so easy to talk to about anything! Not to sound like a kid, but if I could have picked my own sister it would have been someone like you!

of course i have a special fondness for Gerrie b/c i've gotten to meet her a few times and she has even hung out with my hubby when i was home sick!
gerrie is soooo genuinely caring and compassionate. She is so strong as we saw her kick cancer's butt, though smart enough to know when she needs to be taken care of and allow her amazing husband (and family/friends) to help her. she is beautiful, hysterically funny, and i know, one of these days when neither of us are knocked up, we will have some cocktails and just continue having the best time when we hang out.
gerrie and paul are such a great match together, and are raising the coolest son. I asked gerrie what her secret was to being a great mom and having an amazing son....i want to follow everything to a T!
Yay, Gerrie! Gerrie is an awesome person- you can feel it in everything she says. She cares about others and isn't afraid to share her opinion- a quality that I think gets far too overlooked among women. She loves her family and her job and her friends... and has kicked patarkis this year, in general. Dex is a lucky boy to have such an awesome mommy!
I hope we can get together sometime soon Gerrie!! I know we'd have a blast!

You are an awesome mom, and wife and we all know you are a killer cook.
Everyone else already said everything I was thinking--but Gerrie is such a strong woman! She seems like an awesome mother and wife. Her family is so lucky to have her! I just love her outlook on life and everything, even when there's something to get her down, she looks beyond it. She gives great advice on this board. I don't know what we'd do without her!

Gerrie, to me, is one of the top girls in this group. She is smart, funny, independant, and has common sense. She seems like she's be tons of fun to hang out with.
She is also a very strong woman to go through what she's gone through and come out on top and so positive.
I would like to eat her cooking someday.
Also, Gerrie was one of the ones to email me privately when B was born and I was having a rough go of it. That meant A LOT to me.
Plus, she's Gelisa's other MOMMA!!!!!

Oh dear heavens! You girls get a kick out of making this tough biotch cry don't you?!! These are the sweetest words in the world and I can't thank you enough for each of them. I really can't find anything else to say that hasn't been said already! I completely agree with every comment.. down to the last word. You're such an inspiration for what you've been thru this year (well, last year). And you were still able to be an awesome mom and wife... and still come by here and give out some of the best advice! I can't imagine this board without you a part of it.

Gerrie is one of the nestie I have to meet!!!! Gerrie's picture could be next to the word STRONG in the dictionary! Talk about a woman who went through so much in 2009 and came out with the best attitude! I admire Gerrie's strength!
Considering I have only met only one Nestie - I wish that I could meet everyone but most of all Gerrie! I would love to hear her accent and the fierce woman in her come out!

Great pick Nami! All of the ladies have said many wonderful things that fit you to a tee. I love the Jerry Springer comment, that had me bust out laughing.
But I'd like to add that I think Gerrie is the heart and soul of our April board. She defines strength, she's a classic beauty, she has so much warmth and kindness, sassy Red Sox fan and humor like no other . You have experienced so much in 2009, that I only see the positivity and greatness to follow you for twenty-ten. xoxo

Gerrie is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She always, always has a kind word and great advice. She is a not only an amazing friend, but she is a true inspiration. She gives 100% in everything that she does...whether it be her family, her job, or her friends. I hope to someday meet you, Gerrie! I think we would truly hit it off!
