2010 Financial Goal Accomplished!
Although we have other retirement investments, I wanted to open a Roth IRA for myself and I did it yesterday!

Ha,ha! DH jokes about my "savings" all the time!! I opened with just over the minimum, so I was happy ; )
Congrats!!! I saw the post title and I was like "already? Damn!" LOL.
I love the fact that my work offers a Roth 401k because we're ineligible to contribute to a Roth IRA, but it's still advantageous in the long run.
Must be nice to be in one of those big, fancy firms

We just opened (2) int he past few weeks too
This made me LOL considering the ridiculous sh!t that's been going on lately! Sometimes I wish I was at a bigger, fancier firm...and then I realize that I'm home by 5 with regularity and I suck it up.
