Re: Thursday Accountability
So far I've had breakfast--half of a rotting banana. That's not going to work. I predict I will jump in the shower right now, be in such a rush I have to leave right away and end up buying unhealthy crap at school.
It's like I have a crystal ball to see the future!

B: Mixed berry smoothie with 1/2 banana, skim milk, and fat free vanilla yogurt.
S: Fiber 1 caramel granola bar
L: Spinach salad with blackberries, craisins, feta, and walnuts with light honey mustard vinaigrette and an apple. I packed my lunch before I got 5 miles from home and decided it was a snow day.
Afternoon snack: Probably a light and fit yogurt
Dinner: Mahi Mahi and ???
Ex: Gym this morning, a couple leg machines, a couple shoulder/chest machines, 10 minutes on the stairmaster, 20 minutes on the treadmill

B: skim milk and reduced fat cinnamon graham crakcers
L: it's snowing like a b*tch outside, therefore i do not want to leave work. by process of elimination, it looks like i'll be having special k red berries cereal due to having nothing else at my desk.
Ex: i am still fighting an upper respiratory infection and an ear infection, so i'm thinking unfortunately for me, the gym may still be out tonight. but, i have been doing 200 crunches a night and 200 squats a night at home. i can't stand not doing anything.
B. Pure Bar (cherry cashew) it was interesting.
L. Eating an apple (as we speak) and will have some raw almonds
I will not be going to the gym tonight b/c the roads suck here. When it snows I tend to go straight home. Maybe I'll take the dog out for a walk.

L: Unsure. I have errands to run, so I'll probably eat while I'm out. I'm craving a warm spinach/chicken salad.

Ex: 5 mile run after work. I ended up missing my run yesterday because Mikey got a few spare minutes of free time, so I drove to base to hang out with him.
Chrissy is going to yell at me for this, I'm sure.
B = Nothing. Slept in until 10:45 am

L = Meeting my little brother for sushi in 45 minutes to celebrate his 19th birthday

Ex. = 20 minutes of the EA 30-Day Challenge Program for Wii. Also going to go for a short walk to test out my new pedometer.
Breakfast: 3 egg whites omelet style w/ basil and FF cottage cheese. Oatmeal with banana and peanut butter
Snack: I'll probably kill this 1 lb bag of carrots by the end of the day. I also had a clementine
Lunch: leftover homemade chicken gyros (w/ homemade pita!)
Dinner: sushi
If I have another snack, it will be a glass of milk with a handful of cereal thrown in. This is the only way I can eat cereal without overeating it!
Exercise: I did a 20 minute pilates video this morning - not sure if I'll make it to the gym to run tonight since I'm going out to eat. Oh well!
I probably won't do this often, but here's everything:
B: 3/4 of one pop tart (epic breakfast fail)
L: Marie Callendar's frozen dinner: country fried chicken, corn and mashed tater
S: Poppycock popcorn/pecans
E: Hopefully 30 minutes on the bike before the game starts!

Haha! I hope I'm not becoming the diet natzi.
I'm definitely nowhere near perfect (or even good, lately), but I do know a bit about healthy eating. I know there are a few ladies on here trying to eat healthier with the new year and one of the most common mistakes I see is people not eating nearly enough.
We're pulling for the Longhorns here -- mostly due to hubby's hatred of the SEC and my love of all things Texas... but still we're cheering!
