Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I just saw your comment on my auntie post. DH (b/f at the time), my mom and I went to Hawaii to visit my brother, who is in the Navy. He and his g/f had just got back from a 9 month deployment. One night we went to dinner at the Outback with him and his girlfriend. After dinner they gave my mom and I a card saying "congrats you're going to be a grandma/aunt". I managed to studder out congrats while the first thing out of my moms mouth was "well are you going to get married"? She is VERY old fashioned.
Needless to say it was a very awkward moment and one by one DH, mom and I excused ourselves to the restroom. I thought my mom was going to pass out! Once in the restroom she said well between the 2 of you I would figure that out of him...uh, thanks mom!
The thing was DH went out drinking with them the night before and he thought she wasn't drinking b/c she was only 19. Some how it came up that she was PG, so he had to keep it from us until they decided to tell us.
Anyway, whenever we go to an outback that story comes up.
