So reading the questions in Jenny's post about her interview yesterday made me think of something . . . I can't remember jackshit lately. The meds I'm on make it difficult for me to concentrate and have made me incredibly forgetful. Ask me what restaurant I ate in last weekend? I can't remember the name. What happened with that difficult customer two days ago? Give me a 10 minutes and then the memory will kick in.
Luckily, after years of dealing with ADD, I'm pretty good at forcing myself to concentrate. However, the memory thing is more troubling. I'm applying for a bunch of jobs this weekend and hopefully (fingers crossed) I'll get some calls for interviews. I'm usually great in interviews but I'm going to have to prepare like a crazy person this time around.
I'm mostly concerned about questions like "Can you give me an example of when (XYZ) happened and how you handled it?" I want to have examples prepared for these but really any examples of interview questions people have been asked recently would be helpful!
Thanks peeps!
Re: Interview questions . . .
Omg, I love you.
The questions I remember from when I was interviewed are
What are your 3 strongest qualities?
What is your worst quality?
How do you handle difficult situations (i.e. employee not following safety req, being in a disagreement with an associate, etc)?
