Back from Teeter...

And I got $60 worth of stuff for $30 (some stuff I needed and didn't have coupons for). Woot! I'll be making another trip this weekend with more coupons.

And.....I got hit on while I was in the store. I guess 30 is looking good Stick out tongue

Re: Back from Teeter...

  • Wow, that's a lot of savings, how awesome! :)

Sometimes, in the right setting (like when it isn't from some super creepy guy who is oggling your lady-goods lol), getting hit on can be a major self esteem booster.

The free stuff: Ore-Ida fries, coffe-mate creamer, organic valley whipping cream....I can't think of the rest. Check poontater's blog. That's were I got all my coupons from.

  • Woohoo... nice job!

I just got back from my first trip as well and did very well. Here is a break down.

  • i went first thing this AM and spent 4.88, saved 38.41.  i'm definitely not liking some of their new coupon policies though, some stores are ignoring them and some are following them strictly (1 q on BOGO is the worst).

  • In the case of BOGO... I just buy one at a time Big Smile it makes it a pain, but that way I dont have to argue with them about it.

Both of y'all did great!  But I'm confused, what's the part I bolded mean?

1 coupon per buy one/get one item.  they used to allow two, and some stores/cashiers still do.  i have noticed lately though that not all BOGO items ring up half price, they're ringing up the "old" way of truly BOGO.

where your first one would ring up full price and the second would ring up 0.00.  i've had it happen a few times, the most recent was on popcorn.

Guess you really have to watch as they are scanned!  That's good to know, I'll have to pay closer attention. Thanks!

  • I spent about $16 and saved $61 between VIC and coupons. I got a few things for free, including Oikos yogurt, Wholly Guacamole guac, Dial soap, Sudafed ("Extreme Cold" or something like that), dental floss, and Kleenex (that was using a random coupon that my grandma gave me, that I think she had gotten directly from the manufacturer). I also bought a few things that we use often, like Neosporin and Pepcid Complete. I didn't get to use all the coupons I wanted to, so I'll probably be making another trip!
  • Ya'll did great!  I'm impressed.  I spent $51 & save $32.  Everything I got was either on HT weekly special or I had a coupon! :)
  • Here are the results of my second trip

    I purchased

    Windex Cleaner - 50 cents

    Beggin Strips - $1

    2 Progresso chickpeas - 90 cents

    Electrasol - 49 cents

    WW Lemon Cakes - FREE

2 Chobani Greek Yogurt - FREE

Total was $42.54 and my out of pocket was $3.59 (80 cents of it was taxes)

  • Here are the results of my third trip

    I purchased

    1 Electrasol - 49 cents

    4 Lance Crackers - FREE

2 Gold Fish Crackers - FREE

    2 Wet Ones - FREE

2 Blistex Lip Balm - FREE

    2 Reach Floss - FREE

1 Gillette Fusion Shaving Cream - FREE

    2 WW Cakes - FREE

Total was $58.08 and my out of pocket was $1.46 (97 cents of that was taxes)

  • Awesome job!!  Where did you find the Lance coupons?  I have all the Sunday papers from November until present...was it in one of those?
