Anyone read Cosmo?

I have never been into reading fashion mags but I picked up a Cosmo that someone left behind in the lunchroom and flipped through it on my lunchbreak. Good lord! I read these stories that people tell about the crazy and biazrre sex-capades they got up to and a bunch of guys bragging about one night stands and cheating on their partners. Is this for real?! I was angry by the end of it all! lol

Re: Anyone read Cosmo?

  • it's a guilty pleasure of mine=P  I don't subscribe any more through ;)
  • I use to... in fact I just throw/recycled 5 years worth of editions...
it began to seem like the same things and same advice and stories were happening over and over ... I lost interest; last one I bought was Oct/ Nov. 07
  • I just kept thinking how horrible it was...on my high horse! lol

Exactly this, I used to read it fairly regularly but then it just seem to get really repetative.

  • They are pretty awful. I must admit I do enjoy when someone brings them up to the cottage in the summer though. Makes for some entertaining group conversations after a few drinks. Plus I think they define "trashy beach reading", so as long as you know what you're getting in to....

This for me.  Plus the paper changed and it felt like a trashy magazine 10000X more.

I'm more inclined to read decor magazines anyhow.

  • Guilty pleasure. I do read it.
