Donating Food / Soup Kitchens in Charlotte?
I have a ton of candy, homemade white trash, peppermint bark, etc. left over from a week or two ago when we did all of our holiday baking and I REFUSE to eat it because I've been doing really good w/ this whole weight loss thing.
I don't want to throw it away.
Is there a place in Charlotte where I can donate it to someone? Maybe a soup kitchen or something? Any other good ideas?
Re: Donating Food / Soup Kitchens in Charlotte?
the food pantry i donate to quarterly won't accept homemade items for safety reasons.
check out urban ministries , second harvest, or loaves and fishes.
Thanks, Charch!
Derky, I would totally give it to you if you were in Charlotte... I'd mail it too, but I think it would arrive in liquid form lol.
