Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Writing proposals?
I found out Wednesday I have $61,000 to spend on materials for my classroom (err...repurposed janitor's closet). I have ideas for some of it but need to write proposals for each item. I have NEVER done this before (I typically get $50 a year to spend...wahoo) so I was wondering if any teachers/professionals who have written proposals had and had any advice to formatting, what to include, etc.

OK - I was thinking of something similar to that. (My plan was to do an outline type thing outlining grade levels, school, item, subject, use, benefit to students).
I don't have anyone to ask really.
I am in a private school and this money is grant money from Title I. Being that I work in DC we have no state govt so this goes directly to the feds and no one knows what they "want" since this is a new process to us. So I have to wing it but didn't really want to wing it if I could help it (and if that makes sense lol)
