Every time I take a shower, bath or run to the store DH jumps on his XBox to play Call or Duty, usually I don't have a problem with this until we got the puppy. He gets so hyper focused on the game that he doesn't keep an eye on her and every time I get done and go into the living room there's pee on the floor. He always says "oh she must have just done that" so tonight I finally told him what I thought....I took a bath and I knew there was going to be pee on the floor b/c I heard him playing his game. Sure enough right where he should have seen it was a puddle. I told him that right there is exactly why when we have kids he has to get rid of the XBox. Now he's pouting and won't talk to me. I don't even care.....it's effing ridic.
Thanks for listening, I needed to vent
Re: Need to vent for a sec
Ugh! Boys! They can be so frustrating.
I don't blame you for being upset. I'm sure he will pull a "Natalie, I'm so sorry. I will pay more attention to the puppy..." tomorrow morning
The evil wife that I am, I'd take either all the games or all the controllers & hide them while I took a bath.....that way, there's no excuse!! Although, I don't think I'd ever have this problem as DH is more anal than I am!!
GL, hope he straightens out soon!!
omg, Annie, I'd do the same thing!
Natalie, you better set his arse straight on this one - puppies can get into a lot of trouble (as I'm sure you know) and he NEEDS to watch out for her(him?).
Call of Duty rears its ugly head again!! I'm sorry Natalie and I totally feel your pain. DH has gotten much better though with playing COD...I made some ground rules. When I'm at home he's only allowed to play when I'm sleeping or when I'm doing the dishes
He's usually good to just play a game or so and then stop when I'm around.
Like Annie said, hide the controllers
