Points System?
Hi Ladies!
Just curious, what's this whole point system all about? What do the points mean? Are they used for something? I am listed as a newbie and I'm not sure what levels there are, but JCam, WOW, you have a ton of points! What does it all mean?

No one seems to really know what the points are for though.
haha, I'm totally envious! I love this board and need to dedicate more time to it! I'm going to have to get to the bottom of it or it'll absorb all my time thinking about it!
The points are, apparently, meaningless as no one has been able to figure out any rhyme or reason to them.
Your post count is what moves you to the different posting levels/colors. Someone correct me here if I have the levels wrong, as I'm not totally sure:
501 posts = Bronze
2001 posts = Silver
6001 posts = Gold
15,001 (?) posts = Platinum
Oh, and then there are the Nesticles, a Nestie-created term for those little boxes you see right under your screenname. They turn blue when you post a lot, indicating that you're a top 100 or whatever poster. Yeah, the Nest is a little ridiculous about the number of ways they like to track (and fire up competitive juices to get you to post more since I'm sure it helps their ad rates).
