I don't know what I'm going to do - NEVER MIND

Ok, so I've mentioned before that January sucks at my work. We have a massive sale for the entire month and it's insane. On top of our regular customers, we have all these other new customers who don't understand about our product, *** about prices, and are generally difficult. Oh and we get something 1,500 personalized order. Guess who checks them all as they comes in? THIS GUY.

It's awful but I thought I'll just put my head down and plow through it. I can make it.

My coworker just told me they're extending the sale through February.

I literally broke down in tears at my desk when she told me. I don't know what I'm doing to do.

UPDATE: My coworker is a spaz. We're not extended the sale through February, she misread the ad. It's only going through 2/1. I cried and nearly had a nervous breakdown for nothing. THANK YOU LORD.

    I was just watching say yes to the dress last night and they were showing the crazy sale they have and all the consultants were trying to keep from tearing their hair out.

    I worked retail and was in a management position at a perfume shop, so I can totally relate to sales....they suck.

  • You can do it!  Would it help and would it be possible to give yourself a mini break when its all done - maybe take a Thursday and Friday off when the sale is over as a way to celebrate it being done?  That way you have something to "work" towards.  This helps me!

    Yes, retail, especially sales end of it, really can svck bigtime... My company does a rare few sales, but competitors do all the time and the other end stinks when we get "well, so and so does this for us"... yeah.

    Here's to Jan being almost 1/4 of the way done... It'll go by quick for you, I hope!!! Keep plowing!
