Now this is confirmation its freakin' cold here!
With Drew working overseas and me pregnant, we hired a snow removal service. We had snow starting on Monday and it quit Wednesday (and they will never come over before the entire system is done even with a day of break in between).
Yesterday the UPS guy left a package in the middle of the driveway on the snow because he couldn't get to the steps. So I had to drag that in and then I see the mail guy won't deliver our mail because of the snow. So I called the snow removal guy.
He said its too cold to remove the snow. Ummm...wouldn't it be cold if it snowed??? Maybe he would do this afternoon or this weekend but only if it warms up. I called to some other place because I was furious with our guy. They said the same thing!

It is, indeed, really effing cold. Even colder where you are, though! Maybe it's so cold they can't get their plow trucks started? Sometimes school is cancelled because it's so cold the deisel gels and they can't get any buses started.
If not, and they are just saying it's too cold for them personally, I really think they need to find another job. They're in freaking North Dakota, FFS!

Schools, businesses, UPS and mail all working...just not snow removal guys. Usually bismarck isn't this cold so maybe that's why. Usually its Fargo that gets the brunt. We were -55 wind chill last night and it was -31 air temp this morning. But it was warmer than that yesterday. I see he did finally come here this afternoon but it is up to warm -5 so maybe that's why.
We're supposed to be 16 tomorrow and 30's next week...we'll send the "warm" weather East for you ladies~!
That's crazy! You would think that being in a cold weather state like ND, they would be prepared for those cold temps!
