Re: TGIF!
Very happy its Friday! Tomorrow night we have a b-day party for my brother and on Sunday we're going to San Diego. My friend is having a b-day party for her son and we're gonna visit some family and make a stop at Balboa Park while we're down that way.
Yay Friday! Today's my first weekly Friday Work from Home day and I'm so excited.
I'm going up to my parents house tonight since my sister and dad are here. I'm probably going to stay there till Sunday afternoon and then come back in time to make it to my ILs Sunday night family dinner.
Jealous!
TGIF is right! Yesterday was just a crappy day. I woke up with a cold, had to go to my uncle's funeral, got into a fight with my mom, then after we left the wake, I got a phone call that another uncle (with whom H and I are very close) had just been taken by ambulance to a local hospital because his blood sugar was over 600 (verging diabetic coma) and he was in the ER- so we went on a grocery store run for cold water and sugar free jello for him- then hung out there with my aunt and family who had also all driven straight from the wake, until about 10pm... today has to be a better day.
I plan to start working on a cake for my cousin's son's birthday- lets hope it turns out! He wants a lake, and he's going to buy a bass pro shop toy boat for it- but I'm going to TRY to make a boat with a father and son fishing on it- I have the boat made, I just have to airbrush it silver now!
So at least it will be a good distraction while I wait for more news.
