My sister might move to Hawaii!
As I've mentioned before, my sister's husband is currently in Navy Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI. He gets commissioned next month, and they are currently picking which ships they'll go to. It looks like he'll be stationed at Pearl Harbor and they'll move to Hawaii in March!
We might be having Christmas in Hawaii next year!

Yeah, it's insane. Housing allowance for a married Ensign (lowest ranking Navy officer) is $2000/month. If were moved there at DH's current rank, we'd get $3000/month! Gah! That's almost twice what we get now, and DH says that would get us a "nicer shack."
My sister is supposed to hear from her husband today with more details. Our mom is going to freak out!

Then the movie got too neurotic for me and I shut it off
