Re: OMG SNOWING IN FL!!!!!

  • LOL - too funny!  Be careful in that stuff.  I've lived in Minnesota my whole life and that kind of sleet is just about the only stuff that makes me nervous to drive and walk around outside because it gets slippery in patches.  I was gonna say that you might need a good windsheild scraping too but then thought that you probably don't own a windshield brush/scraper because you probably never would need one!  haha!  :)
  • If you have to walk anywhere, maybe bring a little ziploc bag of salt.  Plain table salt work as well as salt designed for roads--plus you're tiny, not a giant car.  Anyway, if you see ice, you can sprinkle it with your fairy dust and, hopefully, not slip.

  • Im jealous. DH and I though about driving 2 hours north so that we could see it, but I ended up having to work. Maybe one day it will snow in South Fl.

  • Thanks for the advice!!! WOWWW I can't believe it!!! I dont own an ice scraper but I do have like a gift card or something that I can use!!! DH is saying that it is supposed to melt and turn into rain by noon or a little later :( Soo, it probably won't be too much of a problem in about an hour or two. I can't believe I saw it though!!!!

aw i hope it does for you! I am not sure if the storm was moving south or east but if it was moving south and it was slow enough, maybe it might snow at night! I don't think it would snow though if it got there in the afternoon, too warm! :(

According to weather they said that it was to warm last night for us to have any. Tonight we have another freeze warning, but I highly doubt we will get any snow flurries.

  • Don't worry if you have to drive.  Just start breaking about a block before you normally would for a stop sign, leave plenty of room between you and the car in front of you, and don't break into a turn.
  • Haha... too funny!  I hope you had a good "snow" day! :)

  • Also, it looked like Harley was standing!  Does he stand regularly now?  He's doing great!

Thanks! I wouldn't say that he stands regularly, but anytime he is walking and stops, he tries to keep himself standing. After about 30 seconds he usually falls over! He usually sits 75% of the time, but he does stand when he eats, goes to the bathroom, or when he is trying to walk!
