Question for you Nesties

I was talking with a fellow DW Knottie and we were wondering how useful the Programs are. I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly but I vaugely remember reading in some of your "What I would / wouldn't do again" and some put Programs in their "what they wouldn't do" category stating that it was a waste of time.

What are your opinions? Did you do these? Would you suggest doing them?

I did the fan ones, and really, I didn't even notice if anyone used them or not to be completely honest. No one said anything to me about them, so I would say a waste of time and money.

We didn't do them because we didn't have a wedding party, but even if we did I wouldn't have bothered w/ programs. The ones I've seen at other weddings were cute, but got thrown away or forgotten fairly quickly. Plus I'm all for saving paper

I'm not going to do them, partially because I'm lazy and partially cause it just seems like something that won't really be used or remembered. I'd rather spend the time and $$ elsewhere.

We didn't do them either. We didn't have a bridal party, and wanted to keep things simple. Also, we had our closest friends and family-so everyone at least knew of one another.

I spent forever making mine and I never used them...well...the reason was because my ceremony was completely different than it was supposed to be, but that aside I brought them up to the ceremony and nobody took one...they were on a table and that's exactly here they stayed.
