I bought myself a pencil skirt to reward myself for all the hard work I have been doing to get back into shape (I am the lightest I have been in 2+ years ::fist pump:: ).
Any suggestions on tops to go with it that won't make my boobs look like they require their own zip code?
Re: Fashion question
A tip for not making your boobs look gi-mungous, don't wear turtle necks or shirts that have a high collar. Crew necks are okay, but a v-neck seems to be best. You may want to try a darker colour and avoid something super tight.
And if you have any luck finding a button down that fits properly, please post where you got it from. I can't find one for the life of me!
I'd go for a wrap shirt, breaks up the chest area like a v-neck (but is usually more fun).
And congrats on reaching your fitness goal, especially after having a baby so recently, you go girl!
Wrap shirt are fantastic, just make sure it's not too big, then it looks redonk.
If you want a button down, get one that fits the girls, and have the rest tailored.
Actually, the shirts at Tommy Hilfiger fit over my 36 FF's pretty well....
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I am a fan of fitted button downs. I know they can be nearly impossible to find for you well-endowed ladies, but don't shy away from getting something altered. If the shape is right and it fits on top, take it to a seamstress and have it altered to fit perfectly. I ditto wraps also.
Congrats on all the hard work!
I agree with the button down that fits the girls and getting the rest altered. Or, you could find a nice blouse that is not exactly tight all around, and has either some ruffle or just extra material....similar to this:
Way to go with the fitness goal....that's awesome!! I'm trying to work on my own...I hope I have as much success as you did!
Thanks girls! When I was at the store they tired to sell me a knit short sleeve turtle neck sweater to go with it. I didn't like it at all.
I have a bit more work to do but can't believe the difference after only a few bootcamp sessions.
Congrats on achieving your fitness goals, Jen... thats awesome (and motivational).
(no advice on fashion here, sorry).
